Welcome to this place saver for the Penn Quarter Neighborhood Association’s web site, now under construction.

Now twenty-five years old, the Penn Quarter Neighborhood Association, PQNA for short, counts over 170 organizations as members. These include restaurants, shops, commercial office tenants, museums, hotels, theaters, non-profits, public agencies, property owners, and residences.

The PQNA serves its members by promoting the many activities its members sponsor, whether museum programs, lectures and films, theatrical performances, art exhibitions, wine dinners, book signings, lectures, or musical performances. PQNA also publicizes meetings that inform those in the neighborhood of plans being undertaken by public agencies and developments being constructed by private developers. In addition to hosting monthly breakfast meetings on timely and relevant topics delivered by interesting speakers.

With over a dozen theaters and museums, restaurants, shops and the Verizon Center, Penn Quarter is a premier example of a lively and exciting downtown mixed-use neighborhood.

Penn Quarter is bounded by New York Avenue, Mt. Vernon Square, and Massachusetts Avenue, NW on the north, Pennsylvania Avenue, NW on the south, 3rd Street, NW on the east, and 15th Street, NW on the west.
